The Francis Crick Institute Limited (the Crick) is an exciting project to create a world-leading multi-disciplinary biomedical research institute in the heart of London.
The project is supported by 6 of the world's most influential and respected scientific organisations: Cancer Research UK (CRUK); the Medical Research Council (MRC); the Wellcome Trust; University College London (UCL); Imperial College London; and King's College London.
The Crick is intending to procure Mobile Cage Change Stations for work up to and including Hazard Group 2 pathogens valued at up to 500 000 GBP.
The equipment will consist of 10 Mobile Cage Change Stations for work up to and including Hazard Group 2 Pathogens with an option to buy up to a further 15 within 24 months.
The Stations will be used at 1 Midland Road, London, with 10 required to be delivered from June 2016.
The stations must provide protection at a Class II standard against pathogens up to and including Hazard group 2. The stations must be capable of being fully sealed without the use of tape through a fumigation process.
