The city of Cham is planning to build a new fire station for the volunteer fire department at Further Straße 6 in Cham.
After demolition of the existing fire department equipment house, a new building with approx. 2 977 m is to be built
According to the spatial program, the new building should provide space for the following areas:
- Vehicle hall (1 454 m
- Rooms for handling operations and exercises (233 m
- Rooms for training, residence and administration (346 m
- Workshops / storage rooms (639 m
- Other areas (technical, sanitary and traffic areas) (305 m
There are approximately 60 parking spaces outside (alarm, guest and service parking spaces).
The total costs (KG 200-700, DIN 276) are currently estimated at around EUR 12 million gross.
A complete completion of the measure is planned for August 2023.
It is intended to commission the following services (in stages) with this tender:
Project planning for buildings and interiors, service phases 2 to 9 according to §§ 33 ff. HOAI.

For the new construction of the fire station in Cham, the services of object planning for buildings and interiors are to be awarded in accordance with §§ 33 ff. HOAI.
The services are ordered in stages.
First, in the first commissioning stage, service phases 2 to 4 (preliminary planning, draft planning and approval planning) are commissioned in accordance with Section 34 HOAI. The service phases 5 to 9 are called up in stages. There is no legal claim to the entire assignment.
