As part of the introduction of media education into the educational plans of the State of Bavaria, the District Office of Schweinfurt, in its capacity as school authorities, will gradually equip the individual schools with modern digital media (devices) in the coming years. The equipment of schools with a functioning and comprehensive wireless LAN infrastructure is of particular importance here. The aim of the call is to equip 4 schools in the district of Schweinfurt with a wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructure. For this purpose, a WLAN simulation was carried out by the client in advance for each school. The WLAN infrastructure will enable the network connection of WLAN clients in the 2.4 GHz band and 5 GHz band. In the future, the WLAN infrastructure will be used by the students and teachers for teaching and administration as a medium for data exchange.

The aim of the call is to provide four schools in the district of Schweinfurt with a wireless LAN (WLAN)

— equip infrastructure. For this purpose, a WLAN simulation was carried out by the client in advance for each school. The WLAN infrastructure will enable the network connection of WLAN clients in the 2.4 GHz band and 5 GHz band. In the future, the WLAN infrastructure will be used by the students and teachers for teaching and administration as a medium for data exchange. In addition, a network connection for guests at school events will be implemented. The client's side places particular emphasis on the good signal strength of the WLAN clients.

The infrastructure of schools must be able to establish at least a pedagogical (school) network and administrative network. As the further requirements for the construction and design of the networks arise, the client plans to specify more precise requirements with the future contractor with at least one workshop per school.

In addition to equipping schools with WLAN, the contractor will also have to provide service and support services in the future. These can be summarized as follows:

— compliance with specified response times,

— Plan and apply feature and security updates

— adaptations of the respective network,

- incident management,

— Service monitoring,

— Service Management.

For this purpose, the client plans to conclude an additional service contract with a term of 60 months
