OBY shall develop and construct a new nursery at Vollebekk in the Bjerke district, at Lunden 51, cadastral nº/title nº 123/1379.

The project consists of engineering design services for and the construction of a new nursery with the accompanying outside area.

The nursery shall be constructed with 8 departments of 24 older children equivalents (SBE). This deviates from the standard in Oslo municipality, which is 18 STBE per department/base. The extent of this project is, thus, as for one nursery with 10 departments.

The construction of a new nursery with outdoor area shall be executed as a turnkey contract based on NS 8407. The procurement shall be made as an open tender contest in accordance with the 'Best Value Procurement method' (hereafter BVP).

Vollebekk nursery is one of two pilot projects that OBY has instigated, after an initiative from DIFI, to test out the BVP method in Norway.
