East & North Herts NHS Trust runs an established chemotherapy service at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and the Lister Hospital.

This service involves the treatment of patients with both oral and parenteral anti-cancer therapy including vaccines.

Both sites are dedicated to research and development and participate in a wide variety of clinical trials.

We are looking to enter into a contract with a supplier for the provision of a reconstitution service for parenteral anti-cancer therapy including undertaking in conjunction with the Trust clinical trials drugs and vaccines. We require a supplier who will act in partnership with the Trust as the service evolves and develops. The supplier will need to provide excellent reliability to support clinical services, and demonstrate that they are able to deliver a service in line with the latest developments in the field over the expected life of the contract to be awarded. The Trust is intending to award a contract for an initial term of 3 years with options, exercisable by the Trust, to extend the contract term for two additional periods of 1 year each.
