Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (GEM CSU) (EMPACT) is working on behalf of the Local Authorities (The Commissioners), Leicester City, Leicestershire County and Rutland, and are seeking expressions of interest (via PQQ) from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of Integrated Sexual Health Services. The service will be available to the population of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR).

Please note that the current Sexual Health Services are provided by NHS Leicester and NHS Leicestershire and Rutland PCT, Cluster (Current Commissioners until 31.3.13)

Responsibility for the services within in the scope of this service, will transfer to the Local Authorities with Public Health on the 1st April, 2013.

The aim of the service is to deliver a range of accessible, high-quality, responsive, cost-effective, confidential, Integrated Sexual Health Services to the population of (LLR) and to support the delivery of sexual health services in primary care and other community settings through the provision of professional training and co-ordination of a local managed sexual health service network The main objectives of the Integrated Sexual Health Service are:-

- To Commission a high quality cost effective integrated sexual health service that meets the needs of the local population within the project timescale

- Develop robust contracting and performance monitoring processes to manage the integrated sexual health service

- Effective joint up clinical pathways are in place to services not in the scope of this project
