The competition is for the delivery of an electronic patient records system (EPJ).

This means a complete system for the nursing and care sector in the municipalities and it shall ensure that daily operations function as optimally as possible.

The competition does not include an EPJ for doctor surgeries/emergency doctor surgeries.

There will be a strong focus on efficient work processes in the municipalities and a new EPJ system shall support this. The system shall therefore have a close integration between the administrative systems and not at least the professional systems in the municipalities, in such a way that double registrations and unnecessary work processes are eliminated.

The Contracting Authority expects the new system to be commissioned 1.1.2020 for all participants, but the Contracting Authority shall reserve the right to decide when the different parts of the system shall be taken into use. The implementation and use be agreed with the new supplier.

Subject to financing and political approval for each participants.
