Short description: The Authority has procured a “Project Team” comprising a Multi-disciplinary design team (Lot 1) and Employer's Agent (Lot 2) to support the delivery of the redevelopment of Sands Leisure Centre via a 2-stage design and build approach. Consultants will be expected to work as part of an integrated project team to deliver the project. The estimated construction value is 13 000 000 GBP.

The Authority has procured a Multi-disciplinary Design Team (MDDT) that will fulfil the role of Lead.

Consultant / Principal Designer throughout the project across all RIBA Plan of Work Stages 0-7. The Project will be procured under JCT Design and Build Contract 2016 using a 2-stage tender approach. The MDDT will be novated to the Main Contractor after RIBA Stage 4: Technical Design. The Authority reserves the right not to proceed beyond RIBA Stage 2. Continuation of the project beyond Stage 2 is subject to approvals and funding.

The Authority has procured an “Employer's Agent” that will fulfil the role of “Employer’s Agent, Cost Consultant, CDM Adviser and Clerk of Works throughout the project across RIBA Plan of Work Stages 0-7. The Project will be procured under JCT Design and Build Contract 2016 using a 2-stage tender approach. The Authority reserves the right not to proceed beyond RIBA Stage 2. Continuation of the project beyond Stage 2 is subject to approvals and funding.
