Framework agreement for laundry services 2023-2027 - Vefsn municipality

Vefsn Municipality would like to enter into a framework agreement for laundry services for the period 2023 – 2027. The contract is based on hired textiles.

Vefsn municipality is announcing this tender contest for the third time. The 2 previous contests have been cancelled. 

The service consists of hiring textiles, laundry and dry cleaning, as well as transportation, collection and delivery to the following units, which are all located within the Mosjøen town border:

- Unit for nursing homes

- Unit for home care services

- Environmental therapy service

- Health service

The contract will have a duration of 2 years, with an option for extension for a further 1+1 year.

The contract has a value of approx. NOK 8,000,000 excluding VAT, including options. The estimated annual value is NOK 2,000,000 excluding VAT. The estimated value is based on statistics from recent years, plus expected price increases during the period.

The largest volume in this contract is for the following:

- Laundry of patient clothing

- Laundry of textiles/hired textiles such as duvets, curtains, pillows, and duvets. 

- Hire and laundry of flat textiles: Bedding, towels, flannels, nursing aprons.

- Hire and laundry of workwear such as trousers, lab coats, hijabs, and clothes for industrial use.

- Hire and laundry of white canvases, dusters, and dishcloths. The units would like delivery and collection of textiles 2 times per week.
