Description:
Renovation of structural technical infrastructure of the GV-ELT

The subject of the service to be awarded are engineering services in the field of electrical engineering in accordance with §§ 53 ff. HOAI "Technical Equipment" for LPH 3 and 5-9 for the renovation of structural-technical infrastructure Max-Planck-Haus am Hofgarten (INV0) for the following plant groups (AG):

WG 4: High voltage systems,

WG 5: Telecommunication and information technology systems,

AG 6: Conveyor Systems

According to an initial cost estimate, the expected chargeable costs for the aforementioned plant groups are approximately € 4.5 million net. The estimated total construction costs (KG 200 to 700) amount to approx. € 14.5 million net.

The draft contract provided is decisive for the services to be awarded as well as for the remuneration.

More detailed and important information on the planning services to be awarded (object of the contract) is described under point II.2.4) of this announcement.

The Max Planck House at Hofgarten, which houses the General Administration of the Max Planck Society, the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance and the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, was built in 1995-99 and, after more than 20 years of use, must undergo a fundamental renovation of the structural fire protection, the technical building equipment and the underground car park with 67 parking spaces. The usable area (NUF 1-7) is approx. 10,900 m², the gross floor area (GFA) 19,019 m² and the gross volume (BRI) approx. 105,755 m³.

The planning covers the plant groups high-voltage current, telecommunications technology and conveyor technology. The services include the planning of the renovation of the electrical installation (KG 4,5 and 6) as well as the integration of the new electrical installations to be built into the existing systems (such as low-voltage main distribution system, fire alarm system, access control system, etc.). The renovation is largely carried out during ongoing operation or in sections.

The media technology is not part of the contract to be awarded.

The building is equipped with elevator systems for the transport of people and, if necessary, loads, which are to be renovated during operation.

The Max Planck Society attaches great importance to applicants being able to demonstrate profound knowledge in the field of refurbishment of administrative buildings during ongoing operations.

When planning, not only the special requirements with regard to the technical systems, but also the work processes customary for such objects must be taken into account.

The planning must be carried out at least in accordance with the generally recognized rules of technology. Planning must also take into account economic and energy aspects as well as sustainability criteria.

By submitting an application to participate, the applicants declare that they are able to provide the services within the period (see II.2.7) and, in particular, that they have the necessary technical, personnel, factual and time resources.

The special requirements for the provision of services may make it necessary to be available frequently / at short notice at the client's request for coordination talks on site or in Munich.
