Markbygden Net AB (MBN) is planning to expand its grid to be able to connect more wind power production onto the national grid. MBN cordially invites interested parties to apply for qualification to tender for a contract for 2 x 150 kV transmission overhead powerlines, approximately 29 kilometres in total. In one end, each line will connect to a 150/33 kV substation. In the other end, each line will connect to the existing and operational 400/150 kV substation Råbäcken. At Råbäcken, the lines connect onto the national (400 kV) grid of the TSO Svenska Kraftnät. MBN’s intention is to energise the 2 overhead transmission lines in the summer of 2021. The works include the detailed design, delivery, installation and commissioning of the 2 overhead transmission lines. The scope includes all associated civil, mechanical and foundation works, the construction of temporary service and winter roads and the removal of such roads after completion and similar land restorative measures.

The Markbygden wind farm cluster is located between the towns Arvidsjaur and Piteå, in northern Sweden.
