Nottinghamshire fire and rescue service (NFRS) currently have an HR system is over 13 years old, with outdated functionality and although significant enhancements have been made to it during it's life, significant recent legislation, commercial and operational changes render it no longer viable as an ongoing solution.
There is very little integration with other systems resulting in limited business process automation achievable and manual processes and duplication of records is extensive between HR and other departments. There are also a number of systems that manage rostering, time, attendance and resource availability which NFRS are seeking to replace and integrate with the HR system.
NFRS are seeking expressions of interest from potential suppliers who are capable of providing software functionality to support core HR administration and replace a number of systems that manage rostering. Additionally NFRS are interested in suppliers who can provide functionality to support other areas of HR including but not limited to recruitment, learning & development and performance management (collectively known as talent management), however the primary focus is to find a replacement to the incumbent HR and rostering technologies.
