The contracting authority has awarded a contract for school and nursery furniture and associated services.
The estimated annual value of the framework agreement is approx. NOK 4,740,000 for the municipalities in SIIN. The amount varies from year to year depending on the need for upgrades in the different schools and nurseries. The stipulated total contract value including the option for an extension is approx. NOK 16,000,000. The values are a guideline based on consumption in previous years. All the amounts are stated in NOK, excluding VAT. The maximum contract value is NOK 20,000,000.
The estimated contract value represents no obligation for the contracting authority or rights for the tenderer.

The framework agreement is for furniture intended for use by children in schools and nurseries in classrooms, sections, or communal areas. This concerns, for example, classrooms, group rooms, pupil cloakrooms, communal areas, section bases, quiet rooms, and changing rooms.
The framework includes the following categories: Tables, boards/presentation, cloakroom system, storage furniture, mattresses and play mats, children's furniture (intended for use by children up to 7 years), sofas and armchairs, noise-reducing furniture, prams, interior details, play and mobility furniture and chairs.
In general, the offered products should be suitable as regards:
- Preventing muscle pain
- Less body unrest The body gets the support it needs to site.
- Sitting comfort It must not be uncomfortable to sit on.
The framework agreement is limited to office furniture (furniture for personnel rooms/offices, etc., that is intended for employees), and to health furniture (furniture for children and employees with special needs in all entities). The contracting authority can choose to use the framework agreement or hold a separate contest for some procurements of furniture for new buildings or major renovation projects
