Leasing for BVG employees, including provision

an online platform for handling the entire leasing process

As part of systematic demographic management, BVG has successfully implemented various measures in recent years - as an essential component of sustainable corporate development. In particular, the BVG wants to invest in the health promotion of its employees and create an additional offer that specifically supports securing employability and strengthening the promotion of health - in addition to the existing activities of occupational health management.

In addition to the existing demographic management measures, a bike leasing offer for BVG employees was introduced on the basis of TV demography

Since August 2020, BVG has been providing its employees with a large selection of bicycle dealers in Berlin and Brandenburg via a bike leasing service provider. BVG acts as the lessee and makes the leased bikes available to its employees for use by means of a leasing agreement. In order to promote the bike leasing offer, BVG employees also receive a budget that can be offset against the installment to be paid.

The current contract with the bike leasing service provider expires on 31.12.2023.

The service will continue to be available to BVG employees from 2024.

A corresponding range of two-wheelers is to be made available via a bike leasing portal. The operator of this portal is to handle the entire leasing process through a leasing bank. The handling should be kept as simple as possible for the BVG employee.

The contract is to be concluded for the period from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2024 plus a continuation option until 31.12.2027 at the latest.
