The proposed repair works include, but are not limited to the following: - Masonry repointing, - Concrete repairs to deck and abutments, - Pressure grouting to cracks and deep mortar loss, - Rebuilding stone walls above training walls, - Installation of gabion baskets to the NW river bank revetment, - Taking down concrete parapets and rebuilding with new masonry parapets, - Road resurfacing works, - Installation of rubbing strips, widening the road carriageway local to the bridge, etc., - Constructing fencing either side of the parapets, - Constructing gabion revetment, - Moving adjacent field entrance.
