In the cantonal administration of Bern, ServiceNow has been in use as an IT Service Management System (ITSMS) of strategic relevance since 2016. The IT Service Management System (ITSMS) is the backbone of cantonal ICT processes and the source of data for the further development of cantonal ICT. The existing contract for the ServiceNow licenses as well as the integration and services ends on 31.12.2022.

On the one hand, the tender is intended to evaluate a service provider who ensures the operational operation of ServiceNow, further develops the system in the interests of the service recipient and / or on the other hand provides the licenses required for operation in an optimal price/performance ratio.

The canton can also offer or arrange these services to other public authorities in the canton.
