To provide a community vasectomy service for patients registered with a Leeds GP Practice. The service will deliver an innovative, high quality, efficient service closer to patients home.

To provide a community vasectomy service for patients registered with a Leeds GP Practice. The service will deliver an innovative, high quality, efficient service closer to patients home.

The service will:

— offer patients a choice of locations and appointment times, ensuring equitable timely and appropriate access,

— ensure that patients are seen and treated in a safe environment, most appropriate to their care needs,

— provide best value for money, delivering effective and sustainable use of resources.

Local defined outcomes:

a) Low surgical infection rates;

b) Low complication rates;

c) Reduction in sterilisation failure rates;

d) Patients seen and treated within the NHS Constitution timescales i.e. within 18 weeks of referral
