The service offered concerns the treatment of garden waste and the shredding of large combustible and clean wood delivered to Frederikshavn Municipality's recycling sites. Scope and terms are stated in the Task Description. The legal and commercial conditions are stated in the contract form.

The treatment of garden waste has so far taken place at the three recycling centres in Frederikshavn, Sæby and Skagen. 8,000 – 8,500 tons of garden waste have been treated annually in recent years.

The shredding takes place at Ravnhøj Recycling Square and Skagen Recycling Square. In total, about 10,000 tonnes have been reduced annually in recent years.

The task is to receive and process the amount of the mentioned fractions received at all the municipality's recycling centres during the contract period.

In the case of garden waste, the task is also to sell part and, possibly, all of the biofuel and compost produced from this to the contractor and to sell any residues on the market.

As an option, the tenderer must also offer to handle all transport in connection with the treatment of the garden waste, i.e. to pick up the garden waste at the municipality's recycling centres and deliver biofuel and compost to specified addresses in the municipality.
