The framework agreements will meet UMB's need for workshop material within five main categories. Tenders can be submitted for one/several or all of the five main categories, but it must be made clear in the tender which main category(ies) the tender applies to. Tenderers must, as a minimum, be able to deliver a substantial product range in at least one category. The five main categories are divided as follows:

Main category 1 Hydraulic hoses with associated couplings and components;

Main category 2 Transmissions and bearings;

Main category 3 Machine screws;

Hovedkategori 4 Manual and electric hand tools;

Hovedkategori 5 Professional welding equipment with accessiories.

For each area a framework agreement will be entered into with at least 3 suppliers provided that there are suitable tenders. Call off under the framework agreements will be made on the basis of the terms set out in the contract.
