AWIGO Abfallwirtschaft Landkreis Osnabrück GmbH is indirectly a 100% subsidiary of the district of Osnabrück. For the approximately 360,000 inhabitants in 34 cities, municipalities and joint municipalities, it is responsible for the organisation of public waste disposal and thus also for green waste collection.

Compostable green waste from gardens, parks and green areas can be delivered to 31 green spaces in the Osnabrück district.

In this invitation to tender, the contracting authority awards the contract for the recycling of the green waste of some of the above-mentioned green spaces. Approximately 12,000 mg of green waste per year are to be recycled.

Acceptance and recycling (approx. 12,000 mg) of green waste from the following green collection points and recycling centres:

- Alt-Georgsmarienhütte

- Bad Iburg-Ostenfelde

- Bad Laer

- Glandorf

- Hagen a.T.W.

- Hasbergen

The quantities are delivered by a third party commissioned by AWIGO Abfallwirtschaft Landkreis Osnabrück GmbH from the green waste collection points to the recycling plant mandatorily designated by the contractor. The contractor shall weigh the waste at his treatment facility. The collection and transport of green waste is not part of this tender.
