The subject of the contract is the implementation of an investment involving the improvement of energy efficiency in educational and sports institutions in Żory along with their expansion as part of a project co-financed by the Government Fund Polish Ład: Strategic Investment Program.

A. Scope of general construction works - extension The scope of works includes the extension of the existing school constituting part of the School and Preschool Complex No. 9 in Żory, with additional classroom rooms and providing new communication between the existing school buildings and the gymnasium at the site of the planned demolition of the existing connector building. In addition, a lifting platform for people with disabilities (including wheelchair users) has been designed in the new building. The expanded school building will be equipped with the following internal installations: electrical, low-current, lightning protection, cold and hot water, sanitary sewage system, gas and central heating. The building will have no basement, with three above-ground floors (ground floor, first floor and second floor), made in a monolithic reinforced concrete structure - foundations, ceilings and internal stairs, brick - external and internal walls. The foundations of the building will be made on foundation benches, poured monolithically with brick walls above the ground, which will be insulated with mineral wool slabs. The ceilings (including the roof structure) will be made as monolithic reinforced concrete, flat roof with attics, insulated with mineral wool with heat-weldable roofing felt that does not spread fire. Due to the extension of the existing school with additional classrooms, it is planned to demolish the existing connecting building with a staircase between the existing school buildings and the gymnasium, serving as a communication. The building with dimensions: length 9.10 m x width 7.91 m x height 7.29 m, is a two-storey building without a basement. The building is partially overhung and based on columns, made in a brick structure - walls, monolithic reinforced concrete - ceiling, internal stairs and columns, and wooden - roof truss. The roof of the building, made as a gable roof, is partially symmetrical, covered with trapezoidal sheet. External window and door joinery - PVC. The connecting building with the staircase is separated from the existing school buildings and the gymnasium.
