Moyle Interconnector Ltd is procuring an EPC contract (contract notice 2013/S 220-383923) to supply and install two medium voltage cables between it's existing HVDC convertor stations located at Auchencrosh, Scotland and Ballycronan, Island Magee, Northern Ireland.

The Technical Framework Consultant (Cable) will form part of the Client Project Management Team being put in place to manage and deliver the EPC contract for the supply and installation of the cables referenced above between its existing HVDC convertor stations located at Auchencrosh, South West Scotland, and Ballycronan, Island Magee, Northern Ireland.

The services comprise checking the compliance of the contractor's design and construction of the sub-terrain and sub-sea power cable (MoyleReturn Cable Replacement) with the Employer's Requirements. Compliance checking will be required for the detailed design, manufacture, inspection, factory testing, transportation, installation, commissioning and testing of the cable (further information is available in the PQQ documentation).
