Electrical work as part of the expansion of all-day and classrooms
(Building 7) at the Adolf-Reichwein-Schule in 61169 Friedberg
General Construction Description
Here: Electrical trade
In the course of the expansion for all-day care and the areas for the primary school, the existing two-storey multi-purpose building is to be added. The planned construction project is a three-storey extension. Due to the topography of the terrain, the building is located on a hillside between the two schoolyard levels. The basement is partly located on a slope and is accessed from the north at ground level via the lower schoolyard. The ground floor is located at the level of the upper schoolyard and is also accessed at ground level from the south. In the basement there are four group rooms, an office, the technical area, toilets as well as storage areas and a cleaning room. On the ground floor there is a large multipurpose room (dining room), the kitchen area, the staff changing room and other toilets. On the mezzanine floor there are four classrooms, a group room and a notebook room.
The extension is connected to the existing building via a narrow connecting link. Next to it is the staircase with elevator. On both floors, the existing building will have a connecting door into the corridor area of the extension. To secure the second escape route, an external steel staircase for the staggered storey is required.
In the existing building, minor reconstruction measures are to be carried out as a result of the extension.
Trade description:
The electrical installations are to be rebuilt.
Furthermore, an earthing and lightning protection system must be designed, lightning protection class III is provided.
Power supply/ PV/ electrical distributions
For the power supply, a new main electrical distribution is planned in the extension, which supplies the electrical sub-distributions on the floors with the final circuits.
The new main electrical distribution system itself will be connected to the existing electrical distribution system around the basement of the existing building 7.
Furthermore, a photovoltaic system is planned on the roof, and the electricity generated will be fed into the new main electrical distribution system. The electricity generated is mainly used for self-consumption.
cables and wires
The final circuits will be relaid, number and cross-sections according to the intended electrical consumers and connections. The cable is mainly laid in the U.P. and in false ceiling walls.
Installation devices (switches / sockets / junction boxes)
A standard range of switches is used. The installation is mainly carried out under plaster and in partition walls, partly also in vertical BR ducts according to AG specifications. The number and positioning is carried out according to requirements.
Special installation
The new electrical installations will be inspected by an expert after completion of the work. The operating personnel are instructed. Existing documents for the new electrical systems are to be prepared and handed over by the contractor.
sun protection system
The electrical part contains the control system for the sun protection system. The curtains, including the drives, are carried out on site.
The sun protection can be controlled locally in the rooms as well as at one point centrally from the office. In the event of a storm or frost, the sun protection automatically starts.
General lighting
New luminaires with LED technology are planned. The lighting is controlled conventionally, to a large extent automatically depending on light and motion, via motion/presence detectors. The classrooms are also equipped with buttons that act on the presence detectors so that the lighting requirements can also be met manually.
The type of luminaires depends on the ceiling systems, the required illuminance and the design requirements or specifications of the client.
Mainly recessed luminaires are provided that match the intended ceiling system.
The classrooms are to have a nominal illuminance of 500 lux, room 108 approx. 1,000 lux for visually impaired pupils.
Special lighting
The multi-purpose room includes stage lighting for small events with spotlights and DMX control, as well as an el. Screen, projector connections and sound technology for lectures or similar.
emergency lighting
Battery-buffered safety luminaires in standby mode and battery-buffered escape sign luminaires in continuous mode are used. This mainly concerns the escape and rescue routes. The battery is buffered centrally.
Lichtcall system
In accordance with DIN VDE 0834, a disabled toilet emergency call system is included. The call for help is signalled above the toilet door outside and in the basement office.
Public address system
In addition to the above-mentioned sound system for lectures in the multi-purpose room, a nationwide loudspeaker system is planned throughout the building, which is used for break signals or general announcements.
Home alarm fire alarm system
The school is equipped with a home alarm fire alarm system. In the extension, a system with automatic and non-automatic detectors, acoustic signaling devices for alarming and a sub-center will be used. The plant will be connected to the existing building.
Smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system (SHEV)
A SHEV control system is included in the stairwell, which is required for smoke extraction. The triggering is done manually via push-button detectors.
The roof dome including the drive is carried out on site.
Telephone/ EDP
Structured cabling with a central 19'' data cabinet for telephone/EDP is used, cables in quality Cat 7, junction boxes in Cat 6a.
Since the kitchen may receive a separate operator, the kitchen area will be equipped with a separate data distribution cabinet.
The connections are made to the existing network in Building 1.
The active components are not included in the Electrical part.
Outdoor lighting
New pole luminaires are planned in the area of the extension building and the parking lots.
Interfaces to other trades
The cabling for the HLS trade is included.
Required cable trenches for the connections as well as for the pole luminaires are taken into account by the customer.
