Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the supply of Fire-Fighter Helmets, associated spare parts and training.

The Contract will commence in January 2018 and will be for a period of 10 years.

Interested parties should register their interest in the project via the In-Tend website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire, and complete and submit the tender return document together with any supporting information requested by 14.00 on Monday 23.11.2017.

2.1 HFRS are part way through the roll out of replacement Fire-fighting helmets, associated spare parts and training across the service.

2.2 The range of previously deployed helmets is now at end of life having been in service for 20 years.

2.3 1200 new Gallet F1 XF helmets have already been deployed in Phase 1 as part of a previous procurement exercise.

2.4 HFRS are looking to move to the next phase of roll out and need to arrange the purchase of an initial 572 helmets. Potential for a further 250 helmets over the contracts lifecycle.
