Under this contract, a framework contract will be set up to equip the European Parliament buildings in Brussels and Strasbourg with a people counting system.
As part of the modernisation of security equipment, the European Parliament is looking to set up a reliable system allowing the number of people in certain buildings in Brussels and Strasbourg to be determined in real time. The 2 sites will be equipped with a common system, with the possibility to operate each site individually (single-site mode). This contract includes the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of the equipment necessary to perform the counting at each of the sites. It also includes preventive and corrective maintenance during the 2-year warranty period (from the date of provisional acceptance). A total of 42 counting points are estimated for Brussels (assignment 1) and 15 for Strasbourg (assignment 2). Apart from the 2 main assignments, the Parliament will also be able to make additional purchases of the system as required in Brussels and Strasbourg.
