A new contract will be signed for transport services for the transportation of residual waste and bottom ash between Sirkula IKS' waste facility at Heggvin and Eidsiva Bioenergi AS' incineration facility at Trehørningen.

The service procurement is a cooperation between the waste management company Sirkula IKS and the energy recovery company Eidsiva Bioenergi AS.

Both companies will be responsible contracting authorities in the new contract.

The contract will be a continual service contract that will run until notice is given by one of the parties, where 12 months notice is required. The intention is a long term contract with annual status meetings. 

The estimated value is calculated to be between NOK 6.4 million and NOK 8 million for a period of 48 months. 

The procurements includes:

- Transport of approx. 10,000 tonnes residual waste from Heggvin to Trehørningen.

- Transport and loading of approx. 16,000 tonnes bottom ash from Trehørningne to Heggvin.

- Rent of approx. 10 containers. 

There are no options in the contract.

The procurement will be made as an open tender.
