The National Audit Office (NAO) currently has a contract with Ideagen Plc to use Pentana Audit MK 12.0, an audit management and documentation solution, that expires in March 2023. The system is still required so that auditors can continue to use it for a further 3 years until NAO's new Audit Management System is ready to be used for all its mainstream regulated audits.

Retaining Pentana Audit MK 12.0 will ensure there is no disruption to NAO audits, and we continue to have access to support and maintenance from the supplier and developer, Ideagen Plc while NAO have "live" audits pending the transition to our new developer and provider of a new audit management system through to the end of 2025/26.
