Planning services Specialist planning of outdoor facilities - Expansion of the school campus for primary school, after-school care and day-care centre operations in Wildenbruch
1. Description of the planned action
In order to meet the current requirements for occupational safety, fire, heat, sound and health protection as well as for contemporary pedagogy, the client intends to expand the Wildenbruch school campus, Potsdamer Allee 11 in 14552 Michendorf, for school, after-school and daycare operations.
In 2021, the client commissioned a variant study, as a result of which two variants are favored by the committees of the municipality of Michendorf for implementation. The details can be found in the service description and the variant analysis attached to the service description as an appendix.
Variant 3a - Demolition of the extension from 2008 and new building with connection to the school building completed in 1994 (main building), extension for the extension of the kindergarten
Variant 3b - Demolition of the extension from 2008 and new construction, relocation of the day care center to the main building, extension of the daycare center in former after-school areas.
The details can be found in the variant study attached in Appendix I to these specifications.
Explanation of the measure:
During the construction work, special attention must be paid to the school schedule. This means that noise pollution during school operation must be avoided or kept as low as possible. The safety of the students and the school staff, as well as the school itself, have top priority.
As part of the planned construction measures, the measures for the upgrading of the work, fire, heat, sound and health protection in the existing building from 1994 (main building) are also to be realized.
The school profile is based on ecological and nature-loving thinking. In this respect, particular importance must be attached to the use of ecological and sustainable building materials. Attention should also be paid to energy saving and renewable energies and energy recovery in the energy orientation. Roof areas are to be greened or equipped with photovoltaic and solar thermal systems, grey and/or rainwater harvesting is to be provided. If possible, all rooms should be optimally equipped with daylight.
For modern learning, rooms should be able to be used multifunctionally.

Upon conclusion of the contract, the AG initially commissions the Contractor in performance level I with all basic services of work phases 1 to 4 (basic determination, preliminary planning, design planning, approval planning) for the construction of the extension buildings of the service profile.
