The procurement concerns a framework agreement for the purchase of a machine/ground contractor for Sigdal municipality. Sigdal municipality is the property manager and builder.

The municipality would like to enter into up to two parallel framework agreements with machine/ground contractors for assignments of varying scope and nature within machinery and groundwork. The work will mainly involve excavation in connection with repairs and maintenance of water and sewage systems.

Assignment agreements will be regulated by NS 8406.

The contracting authority reserves the right to announce separate contests for any relevant machine contractor services for major building and construction projects.

The need also applies to emergency preparedness in connection with floods, landslides and avalanches, emergency water and sewage leaks, forest fires and other unforeseen events.

Sigdal municipality purchases machine/groundwork for approximately NOK 8,000,000 over the course of the entire contract period, which is 2 years with the possibility of extension for 1+1. The estimate is based on previous historical figures and approximate estimates. This estimate must be seen as a binding volume for procurements under the framework agreement. The procurement of machine/groundwork will vary from year to year, in accordance with the Contracting Authority´s needs.
