This is the so-called Multi-Provider Platform (MPP). The MPP uses the Antwerp Parking and Access Register (APTR), a database developed to support the MPP. See the published invitation document for all relevant information. This invitation concerns the third call for participation.
The city of Antwerp has the ambition to optimize and digitize parking in the city. In order to achieve this, a thinning-out of the parking meters was implemented at the end of 2018, and there is now a strong focus on digital (parking) rights and future innovations in this regard. Citizens and visitors are encouraged to no longer purchase parking rights via parking machines, but to use digital alternatives.
