The Evangelische Krankenhaus Oberhausen GmbH (EKO) is an acute care hospital with 452 beds under the sponsorship of ATEGRIS. A good 1,000 employees treat more than 20,000 inpatients and 50,000 outpatients every year. With 13 specialist clinics, 4 institutes and 5 certified centres and the SPC, the hospital covers almost the entire spectrum of state-of-the-art medicine and care and thus guarantees the entire supply from a single source.
In order to modernize its supply infrastructure, EKO GmbH intends to expand and convert the children's clinic Haus F on the site at Virchowstraße 20 in 46047 Oberhausen.
The subject of the tender is the system replacement of an existing fire alarm system as part of a partial renovation of building F.
Wing B (2023-2024)Building F on the grounds of the EKO contains a children's clinic. The construction project concerns the structural extension and conversion of building F. In this context, a system exchange of the existing Bosch brand to a new system with its own ÜE and all its components of the connection to the FW Oberhausen takes place. Approximately half of the existing 6-storey building (1968) will be renovated and the other half will be replaced during ongoing operation. In this respect, it is an "interesting challenge".
It is envisaged that the total minimum bidder will be commissioned with all 4 lots. For funding reasons, a separation of the lots must take place.
Basic data of lot no. 1 wing B (2023-2024):
- A BMZ with 15 rings
- Complete headend with ÜE and connection to the FW OB
- 488 BMA components of all kinds Total
- Including 431 automatic detectors
The measures will take place in the period 2023-24 and include two official partial commissioning.
Overall, the EKO attaches great importance to a qualitative, cost- and punctual order execution. The operation of the clinic must be ensured to the maximum by the fire alarm work.
Further information can be found in the procurement documents, esp. can be found in the specifications.

Further information can be found in the procurement documents, esp. can be found in the specifications.
