The Gambling Commission is looking for the provision of solicitors' legal services.

The Gambling Commission is seeking solicitors‘ legal services. The Gambling Commission anticipates appointing 2 or more firms to its standing panel, who are able in conjunction to offer substantial UK (excluding Scottish) administrative and public law and regulatory law expertise, and gambling law advice and support (including advice on the conduct of the National Lottery under the third National Lottery licence). It would be highly desirable if respondents were also able to offer advice and support in relation to employment law, contract law, information law, prosecutions, property law, and anti-money laundering law. The Commission may also need ad-hoc advice from time to time on other legal areas. It is intended that legal advisers will be appointed to the panel for an initial period of 3 years, with the possibility of renewal on an annual basis up to a maximum of 5 years in total.
