Ringerike municipality has held a tender contest for works in connection with the Kilemoen water treatment facility project. The project consists of, amongst other things, constructing a new water treatment facility and expanding the basin capacity at Kilemoen.
This competition involved ground and outdoor works:
— The existing raw water pipeline, DN 600 must be altered for approx. 150 m as it now lies in an area planned for the building extension.
— New water manhole in concrete cast on site, with branches from the existing 600 mm cast iron pipe.
— Various pipeline ditches with PE-pipes in dimensions 315 mm to 630 mm.
— Pre-loading of ground for a new pure water basin, height approx. 3 m, diameter approx. 30 m.
— Excavation of a construction pit for the new building.
— Establishment of 3 lagoons for the infiltration of water from filter flushing.
— Refilling around the building.
— Internal roads and sites, as well as completed terrain work on the site.
The contract has been awarded to Tronrud Anlegg AS.
