Geographically, the work will take place in the Mendès France sector, located partly in the city of Saint Herblain, partly in the city of Nantes.
On Place Mendès France the work on public spaces accompanies the profound changes undertaken on the built environment, linked to the demolitions of the social landlord CDC Habitat. The two buildings on either side of the square, Dax and Rossignols buildings, will be partially demolished to create an east-west opening of the district. New islands allowing this new porosity will be rebuilt
