The agreement consists of making available, maintaining and supporting an Enterprise Service Bus (hereinafter: ESB) and (digi)links. The existing (digi)links of the municipality must run through this new ESB. In addition, future new (digi)links must be set up and made available by the service provider. The service provider is responsible for both technical and functional management.
The agreement is entered into for a period of at least 4 years and a maximum of 10 years.

The command is a merge. However, the ESB and (digi)links show so much coherence that splitting up is not desirable. The suppliers have their own lines of communication with the national facilities and a third party makes the responsibilities in case of issues less transparent and the construction of links costs more money and time.
