Description:

The subject matter of this contract is the supply and installation of a contrast agent analyser for the Nanochemistry Laboratory of the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory.

Contrast Agent Analyser allows the study of the suitability of pharmaceuticals as contrast agents for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, by means of the characterization of their relaxation properties (T1, T2).

— Plug & Play installation. Running on a standard 230-volt, single-phase power outlet;

— Benchtop siting, compact design;

— No high- and radio-frequency shielding required;

— Cryogenic free permanent magnet.

— Magnet unit:

— Magnetic field localized within the range 1.3-1.6 Tesla;

— NMR frequency in the range 5-55 MHz (or wider), with 1 Hz stepping and resolution better than 1 ppm;

— Completely translational to clinical MRI systems;

— Versatile control unit, able to connect to different magnet units and work at different frequencies/magnetic fields;

— Pulse programmer, 20 ns timing resolution. Phase resolution better than 0.2°;

— Digital quadrature receiver, variable gain and variable digital filter;

— Broad band transmitter with output power ≥250 W at maximum working frequency;

— Probe Exchange Plug & Play, no re-cabling necessary;

— Magnet temperature control with digital PID control in the range 35-45ºC (or wider). Temperature stability better than 0.02ºC. Fast magnet warm up;

— Sample temperature control system, from 15 to 45ºC (or wider);

— Sample tubes accommodation higher than 5 mm diameter;

— Low amount of sample, < 0.5 mL volume;

— Simple handling and measurement;

— PC/laptop included.

— Software for data acquisition included, multiuser and friendly experimental operation:

— Definition of pulse sequences and phase cycles;

— Data analysis, display and storage;

— Mathematical post-processing and curve-fitting;

— Air cooled;

— Maintenance free;

— Easy cleaning (no disassembly required) and service;

— Product installation and training included.
