Services provided by nurses. The service provider will be required to sponsor and support the stoma nurses to offer our current stoma patients the choice of hospital or community services especially with patients now living longer and requiring assessments/review including product appliance use reviews.

The stoma nurses will also be required to provide assessment/support/management to patients with complex stoma/wound that are transferred to the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust from other hospitals and then discharged back into the community. The stoma nurses will plan to offer a minimum of 2 days per week to community setting supporting both patient and General Practitioners alike through these community clinical sessions.
