The Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command is hereby pleased to call for your tenders for Combat gloves in 2018-2020. Combat gloves (flyer’s gloves) are used with other combat clothing, protection and equipment and firearms. Gloves enable efficient and safe use of firearms and other weapons, means of communication and other equipment. Combat gloves are intended to use in temperature range +20 ºC — -5 ºC.

Structure, requirements and delivery of the gloves shall be according to the Technical definition 303-a (Annex 1). The products shall be made of materials which will not cause any harm of the health or hygiene of the user. Materials and accessories shall be chemically approved for clothing next to skin. Materials shall not contain any substances which could cause harm for health or environment during the lifetime of the product. Materials shall not release or decompose to toxic, carcinogenic, mutagenic, allergenic substances, cause reproductive effects or be in any other way harmful. The Tenderer has to assure that the criteria are met and include assurance document to the Tender.

Delivery Times 56125 pairs in year 2018 desired delivery by 30.11.2018 Tenderer is requested to inform the shortest possible delivery time in weeks from the order (delivery by 28.2.2019 at the latest). 28000 pairs in year 2019: 2.1.2019 — 26.9.2019, 20000 pairs in year 2020: 2.1.2020 — 29.9.2020. The ordered amounts may vary +/- 30%. Partial deliveries are allowed.

Tender samples: we require 1 ready made pair of gloves in size 8 or in size 11 and 1 meter of the fabric and 50 cm x 50 cm piece of the leather used in the gloves with the Tender. These samples have to meet above mentioned technical requirements and they will be laboratory tested and visually inspected. In addition, three pairs of gloves size 9 and 3 pairs of sizes 10 must be sent to the test of using properties. The samples will not be returned. The technical information and names of the manufacturers of the materials that will be used in the production shall be included in the Tender (technical specification of the manufacturer of the materials and/or laboratory test results). The technical information including the manufacturers shall be equal to the offered production.
