The target of the procurement is services related to the inspection, service and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers and express fire hydrants in properties owned or co-owned by the University of Helsinki Group.
The number of services to be purchased during the contract period, as well as the items, may vary. The subscriber does not commit to specific purchase volumes.
The contractor is responsible for checking, adjusting, servicing and repairing that portable fire extinguishers and rapid fire hydrants are in working order and that defects are kept to a minimum.

The agreement also includes the inspection and maintenance of safety signs and signposts.
The contractor is responsible for checking, adjusting, servicing and repairing that portable fire extinguishers and rapid fire hydrants are in working order and that defects are kept to a minimum. See Appendix 1 (description of Liite_1_Hankinnan item) for more information on the subject matter of the procurement.
The services and products must meet the requirements of laws, regulations, regulations and standards in force from time to time. The products must comply with the attached HIKLU First-Aid Extinguishing Equipment Guide (Liite_5_HIKLU_Alkusammutuskalusto_ohje). With this agreement, Subscribers may also purchase other fire safety products in accordance with the Service Provider's price list.
The estimated value of the procurement during the contract period (2+1+1 years) is approximately EUR 260,000.

Based on the tendering process, one (1) service provider is selected, with whom the actual procurement contract for the provision of the overall service will be concluded.
In addition to the actual supplier, one (1) deputy supplier is selected, with whom an actual procurement contract can be concluded if the selected actual supplier does not meet the set terms and conditions during the contract period.
The agreement is scheduled to start on 1.1.2023, provided that both parties have signed the agreement before this.
The Agreement is valid for two (2) years, after which the Subscriber has the opportunity to extend it for two (2) one (1) year option periods.
