The contracting authority intends to acquire audit services for the expenditure of the EC Investment Programme declared during the relevant period in order to ensure the requirements of Regulation 2021/1060 to the Audit Authority and to submit to the EC an annual control report and an annual audit opinion, which would be based on all the work carried out and would include the following components: completeness, accuracy and correctness of the accounts and the legality and regularity of the expenditure included in the accounts submitted to the EC.
The contracting authority intends to procure approximately 3600 hours of expenditure audit services for the expenditure declared by the European Union Funds Investment Programme for 2021-2027, which meet the requirements set out in this technical specification, which must include the services of the proposed audit experts, public procurement experts and all expenses related to the provision of these services. In the event that, taking into account the specificities of the audited area, an expert in a special field is to be used, the contracting authority will acquire approximately 400 hours of the services of a specialist expert in the field, which must also include all expenses related to the provision of the services of an expert in the special field.
