The Ingolstadt University of Technology intends to expand the VMWare Cluster and replace the previously used server hardware.

In addition to an expansion of the performance of the cluster, the functionality should also be expanded.

The goal is to build a completely software-defined data center in several project steps.

This call contains the first subproject.

In addition to the servers for the cluster, the University of Ingolstadt will procure additional bare metal servers and virtualization servers by the end of 2021.

A framework agreement on the purchase of further largely identical servers is therefore part of this invitation to tender.
