The subject of the contract is the performance of the task entitled Running a Shelter for Homeless Animals at 3-5 Przybyszewskiego Street in Toruń in the period from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2024.

1. As part of the performance of the contract, the Contractor shall be obliged to:

1) round-the-clock care of animals in the shelter, supervision of the area, equipment and facilities of the shelter and, from 7 to 21 each day, performing other activities covered by this agreement, subject to point 2;

2) ensuring the possibility of access to the Shelter by third parties (opening of the shelter), which is understood as the activities of the Shelter employees enabling people interested in adopting animals to enter its area and the functioning of the service office in the Shelter during the period:

a) in January, February, March, October, November and December from Monday to Saturday at times consistent with the submitted tender,

b) from April to September from Monday to Saturday at the hours consistent with the submitted offer,

c) on Sundays, all year round from 10:00 to 16:00;

3) accepting animals from GMT and other municipalities to the shelter, under the conditions resulting therefrom in § 6 section 1 point 4 of the model contract;

4) intervention trips for animals in the GMT area from 7 to 21 every day, and after these hours of reception from the Municipal Guard and authorized services of animals from intervention.

5) carrying out preventive catches (catching) of homeless animals

in places of their excessive collection, transport of fished animals directly to the Shelter by means of equipment and means that pose no threat to their life and health or distress, including a car adapted for the transport of animals referred to in § 2 (7) the model of the contract and the provision, where necessary, of medical and veterinary care for the fished animals;

6) conducting preventive actions together with the Municipal Guard in Toruń in order to ensure the safe existence of animals;

7) conducting the action of catching animals disturbing the order or posing a threat to people together with the competent services;

8) provide round-the-clock veterinary care in cases of road accidents

with the participation of animals, by a veterinarian cooperating with the shelter;

9) providing veterinary care to animals staying in the shelter, including sterilization and castration;

10) marking all animals leaving the Shelter with chips;

11) searching for owners for homeless animals (animal adoption), including by maintaining a website on which photos and description of animals suitable for adoption will be posted;

12) organize or take part in educational and promotional campaigns concerning animal protection, on an urban scale, for at least 100 people, excluding Internet campaigns, provided that at least one action is carried out and organized by the Contractor independently in the shelter, as well as enabling educational activities on animal protection conducted by the organization and institutions established for this purpose to be carried out in the shelter;

13) putting to sleep blind litters of animals from the area of the Municipality of the City of Toruń;

14) securing the shelter facilities with all measures necessary for the proper functioning of the shelter, including protection in terms of compliance with fire and health and safety regulations in the scope related to the operation of these facilities;

15) taking care of the entrusted property of the Ordering Party;

16) operation of the oil boiler room with installations, operation of the pressure brewing boiler and cold store by authorized persons and maintenance of these devices, in accordance with the requirements of relevant regulations in this respect;

17) maintaining order in the shelter, carrying out repairs of buildings and devices and equipment of the Shelter resulting from the current operation,

18) storage of food for free-living cats purchased by the City of Toruń and its distribution among social guardians of animals on the terms specified by the Ordering Party.

2. The provisions concerning the requirement of employment under an employment contract are contained in point 8 of the SWZ.
