Contracting authority has issued a European public tender - based on the European Directive 2014/24/EU for the coordination of public supply, service and works contracts, as implemented in Chapter 2 of the Procurement Act 2012, as last amended and published in the Official Gazette on 30 June 2016 - to conclude an Agreement for the treatment of organic waste for four years and then three times a grant option of one (1) year (in total up to seven (7) years). It concerns the receipt and processing of approximately 3,700 tons of organic waste per year, which has been collected door-to-door or brought to the environmental park.
