The Heidekreis intends to rehabilitate BBS Soltau's sports hall.

For this purpose, a general planning office is to be found in this procedure, which provides the services of object planning, structural engineering and technical equipment.

A preliminary draft planning has been prepared to apply for funding and is in place, so service phases 3 to 8 (or 6) are awarded.

The project is funded by the Lower Saxony sports facilities renovation program and has a construction cost volume KG 300+400 of approximately EUR 3,400,000 gross.

The building is a three-field hall with a grandstand, which has been embedded around an entire floor in the area. The building has flat roofs of different heights and a brick façade. The construction consists mainly of reinforced concrete with masonry. A steel-truss structure stretches above the hall and a reinforced concrete ceiling above the sanitary area. The entrance area, part of the changing rooms and sanitary areas, the ventilation centre and the grandstand are located on the ground floor. The playing field with side rooms, a gym room, changing rooms and sanitary areas are located in the basement.

In the preliminary draft planning, key measures were identified:

— pollutant remediation in almost all components

— renovation of the hall roof with roof insulation, roof light domes and waterproofing,

— renovation of the roof of the sanitary area with redesign of the entrance area,

— installation of windows in the previously completely closed hall façade,

— installation of a barrier-free toilet,

— installation of adjoining rooms in the former cloakroom,

— replacement of all existing windows and exterior doors

— complete renovation of sanitary facilities and changing rooms,

— complete renovation of heating and water supply and disposal,

— complete renovation of the electrical system,

— complete renovation of the ventilation system with changed heating and ventilation concept,

— complete renovation of all floors except the oscillating floor of the hall,

— complete renovation of all surfaces and fixtures in the locker and sanitary areas,

— partial repair of the building waterproofing,

— repair of the adjacent outdoor facilities to complete the renovation,
