Object of these services: external service for prevention and protection at work.

Police zone Antwerp is looking for an external service for prevention and protection at work (abbreviated EDPB) for the performance of all benefits relating to the well-being of employees in the performance of their work, following the application of the Law of 4 August 1996 and subsequent amendments.

The purpose of the requirements below is to give the external prevention service an idea of what the minimum requirements associated with the assignment will be. This list is by no means exhaustive.

1. The candidate undertakes to only accept and carry out assignments for the Antwerp Police Zone on behalf of the Chief Commissioner's Office or the service management of the internal service for prevention and protection at work (abbreviated IDPB). Other assignments are submitted in advance to the IDPB's department.

2. The candidate undertakes to communicate the results of the assignment in advance to the main supervisory board or the service management of the IDPB. The further communication within the corps is always determined in consultation and ultimately decided by the chief commissioner's office or the service management of the IDPB.

3. The candidate undertakes to specify a permanent contact person with whom all communication takes place (single point of contact, abbreviated SPOC) and a backup in case of absence. An SPOC is also designated by the candidate for each welfare discipline (occupational safety, health protection, ergonomics, psychosocial risks and occupational hygiene).

4. The candidate undertakes to entrust only persons with the assignment who have sufficient experience in the field and who comply with the provisions of Book II, Title 4 of the Codex on well-being at work

5. The number of services requested by the client shall depend on the composition and tasks of the client.

6. Furthermore, the specified procedures, and others, may change during the course of the contract. The descriptions are forecasts. The EDPB is asked to be flexible enough to deal with this. In any case, changes will be made in advance mutual consultation.

The Antwerp Police Zone specifically needs prevention advisers for the following welfare areas: Health protection, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, occupational hygiene and, in the event of understaffing of the IDPB, also occupational safety.
