The contracting authority is planning a thorough renovation of the open-air shopping center Het Pand in Waregem. It houses about thirty businesses, which all have to close during the 18-month works (scheduled for 1.2.2021). A number of these businesses opt for a relocation to an existing vacant building in Waregem, but a number of others opt for a mobile retail unit.

The contracting authority is responsible for renting the mobile retail units. Five mobile retail units are currently to be rented (this may change in the future). The retail units must be fully ready for use (except for rolling stock, such as tables and chairs and certain appliances (kitchen appliances, copiers, ...).

The assignment includes the delivery, installation, equipping of the mobile units as well as the rent during the works up to and including the demolition at the end of the works. The tenderer is responsible for the entire contract and delivers the mobile units ready for use (with the exception of loose materials) and also takes them back at the end of the contract. All associated costs must be included in the pricing.

If adjustments are still made to the number of units or their surface, the tenderer will adjust to this during the execution of the contract. The prices specified in the price list will then be applied.
