The copper city of Stolberg has successfully acquired funding for the implementation of extensive digitization measures at municipal schools as part of the "DigitalPact Schools NRW" funding program. The aim of this funding is to bring the schools technically up to date for the "digital classroom".
The aim is to bring the digital infrastructure in all pedagogically used rooms up to date with the latest technology. Furthermore, these areas will be equipped with a comprehensive WLAN. Required active components (switches, etc.) may be used. adapted to the state of the art or replaced or supplemented.
The project scope includes 15 school locations in different stages of development. These are:
- 10 primary schools
- 1 High school
- 2 comprehensive schools, each with 2 sub-locations.
The total investment volume amounts to approx. EUR 2.5 million
The AG conducts a two-stage negotiated procedure with participation competition according to VGV under the conditions specified in the publication and in the participation documents.
