UC Knowledge is also a database and a tool for extracting data in connection with the sector's annual intellectual capital accounts and benchmarking.
UC Knowledge is used by approx. 10,000 users in the form of both researchers, editors, reporters, UC Viden coordinators, students and administrators.
The present tender concerns the acquisition of a comprehensive IT solution, CRIS (Current Research Information System) for the replacement of the Order's existing solution.
The university colleges' vision for the work on research documentation is therefore a comprehensive solution, CRIS (Current Research Information System) and associated portals and services for the purpose of the purposes on which UC Knowledge is based, and as described above.
The offering also includes migration and any necessary conversion of UC Knowledge's existing data to the new CRIS, a metadata model, the possibility of extracting CV, portal for uploading bachelor projects, IT infrastructure and related hosting and / or cloud solutions.
Furthermore, it is a goal that UC Knowledge in the future must be based on a decentralized system technical model, where the individual university college becomes the data controller with the possibility of both enrollment, extraction and reporting of local data.
The contracting party's requirements for the functionality of CRIS are stated in Contract Annex 3.
In addition to supplying CRIS, the supplier must also provide project assistance for training, preparation, testing and implementation of CRIS. The supplier must subsequently carry out the operations, maintenance and further development of CRIS in accordance with the Contract.
