Tenders shall be submitted for 2 multi-detector CT systems with specifications in the upper level of minimum 250 average detector (total) as defined under the area of use.

Pricing in a separate price sheet. The prices shall be given without VAT. Any supplements in addition to the specifications in the price form are to be added at the bottom of the spreadsheet. The order of the listed points shall not be changed.

The machines shall be used at the Department for Image Diagnostics at Levanger Hospital and Namsos Hospital.

The CT systems are expected to be installed during 2015. (The machine in Levanger can be in 2016 if the premises are not ready).

The machines shall be used to a large degree for examining all organ systems including oncology, the large intestine, angiography and trauma/acute examinations. Optimal quality and user friendliness for high quality examinations of coronary arteries are important, possibly also perfusion examinations of the heart. The picture quality and user friendliness for standard examinations and heart examinations will be highly weighted, cf. the ought-to-have requirements 1.2.1-1.2.3.

Furthermore, the equipment shall have functionality for child examinations with low dose and quick recording and perfusion examinations of body and neuro.

The equipment functionality also ought to cover the option for interventions with drainage and biopsies, high solution examinations, as well as the option for Dual Energy.
