The tender deals with contract for the supply of remote heat units for heating areas up to about 300 m2, as well as used water heating equivalent to a one-family dwelling.

The contract covers the procurement of district heating units for Aalborg Supply Heat+ scheme referred to in Part II.1.4). The contract is offered as a one-vendor agreement where contracting entities order units for delivery as needed. Thus, there is no breakdown of the agreement into sub-agreements. The contract has a scope that is logistically and practically most optimally covered with one supplier, including to minimize own resource consumption. Lastly, the task has a smaller scope and therefore does not lend itself in a further breakdown.

It is expected that over the contract period 1 000 district heating units will be provided. In addition, contracting entities must have an option for the delivery of an expected 200 district heating units. The quantities specified are not obligating for contracting entities. The contract is exclusive to the supplier, but the contract contains modification clauses that allow it to up- and downgrade on the scope when needed.
